Superset nt: the best ever SCM throughfeed moulder
The superset nt throughfeed moulder is the ideal solution to carry out a wide variety of products: profiles for windows, doors, stairs, beads, frames and furnishings. The MOBILE PC electronic control, provided with Maestro active 4-side software and ‘eye-M evo’ console with Full HD LCD (24”) touch screen display, allows the complete management of all machine functions: setting of electronic axes, feed system and spindle motors for each machining unit; simplified program research thanks to the import of profile images; detailed reports on machine use; clear and intuitive icons for programming; customized machine layouts.
Operator is thus assisted during all phases of machine setting, thanks to the MDI function that can also control the manual axes. The adjustment of the universal spindle becomes electronic: the axes positioning (horizontal, vertical and rotation) is totally managed by the electronic control for a quick setup without errors. Lastly, to complete the digital solutions package, on superset nt is available the SCM’s IoT Maestro connect platform that makes the machine ‘smart’: its data is analyzed and monitored to increase productivity and reduce operational, power and maintenance costs.
Ergonomic: The machine structure has been designed to enable the operator to work in ergonomic and safe conditions: special supports allow to hang the dust collection covers directly on the base, the sector for the right fence is adjustable by using a pneumatic selector, millimeter lines simplify the manual positioning of the machining units and tool change operations are always guided.
Wide versatility: The feed system enables the processing of elements with variable dimensions, 15×6 mm minimum finished section and 260×200 mm maximum finished section.

Balestrini power is the 5-axis machining center for the processing of solid wood elements such as chairs, tables, stairs, railings, curved kitchen doors, musical instruments, sport equipment and design furnishing accessories. With the multi-head machining units, all necessary tools are always ready-to-use guaranteeing unrivalled machining speed. As an alternative, the machining unit with PX5 single electrospindle is used for complex operations with heavy-duty stock removal.
The architecture of the machine is characterized by fixed gantry structure and high vertical axis stroke, which allows performing work-pieces up to 920 mm in height with best accuracy. The new CE protection enclosure with horizontal sliding doors combines safety and optimal ergonomics during all working phases. Balestrini power can be configured with different specific
